I did a detailed UX case study for a proposed real-time project– TexStar Biz, an online business directory. This was my capstone project for my User Experience Design course.

TexStarBiz is a one-stop shop for not only businesses in the state of Texas, but also places and things that are uniquely Texas. It brings businesses & potential customers together locally. Places of importance might not be readily searchable in mainstream search engines.Texstar Biz eases the burden of having to sift through tons of links that are often not relevant on search engines

Start-ups, artisans/craftsman now have a place to advertise their business at a reasonable fee and can be easily found by locals–instead of being hidden getting in the abyss on huge search engine platforms. It is more than just a business directory–it’s an online community portal with added incentives for listings, and give locals a reason to visit.
